Benefits

The Ontario Rehab Alliance memberships are for companies / organizations, as well as sole providers, who work within the auto insurance rehab sector across Ontario. Many of our members also provide private-paying rehabilitation services to their local communities as well.

Being a member of the Ontario Rehab Alliance (ORA) means you are part of a collective voice advocating for fair, sustainable, and client-centered rehabilitation within Ontario’s auto insurance system. Your membership directly supports the ORA’s advocacy efforts, like representing health service providers and their clients at the regulatory, governmental, and industry levels. Together, we push for policies, funding structures, and practices that make it possible for rehabilitation professionals to do their best work in support of those injured in motor vehicle accidents.

In addition to supporting vital advocacy, ORA members also enjoy access to valuable member-only resources and networks, including:

  • Special Interest & Action Groups focused on priority issues such as Attendant Care, Protected Accounts, and Fees & Rates.
  • Timely updates, insights, and tools related to evolving auto insurance and health policy in Ontario.
  • Opportunities to collaborate with other providers, share expertise, and shape collective advocacy priorities.

Membership in the ORA means you’re not standing alone — you’re part of a community of professionals working together to strengthen the rehabilitation sector and protect the rights of both providers and their clients.

Why Membership Levels Are Based on MVA Staff Size

Membership fees are the primary source of funding for the Ontario Rehab Alliance’s advocacy work, resources, and initiatives—efforts that support our entire sector by addressing the unique challenges of the motor vehicle accident (MVA) rehabilitation system.

ORA membership levels are based on the number of staff working with MVA clients under your company name, rather than your total business size. This more accurately reflects the scope of our advocacy and ensures that membership contributions are aligned with how companies participate in the MVA system.

When determining your membership level, please include any contracted health service providers (HSPs) who work under your company name. Even if these individuals are not direct employees, they are seen as part of your organization in the eyes of insurers and clients, and they benefit from the advocacy and resources the ORA provides to their membership companies.
